One of my first tasks when I joined the team at LiveWire was to run a small procurement exercise to establish the best operator to take on all our intruder alarm monitoring and maintenance requirements across the 10 sites. These sites include libraries and leisure facilities and each site has a different requirement it was imperative that the right partner was found during the procurement process. Based on the responses received, EPG’s stood out, not just based on the quality of the written responses but with a significate saving of approx. 45% against what we were paying. The rationale behind the procurement exercise was to move from a mixture of suppliers, charging varying rates to a single solution with a set pricing structure to ensure transparency throughout the new contract, which EPG fully supported.

Based on the complexity of the different systems at each site, the associated regulations and  best practice, I met with EPG who are experts and they made this complicated process, simple. If I ever have a question, I know they are only a phone call away. Not only did they provide a quality response document, they are there when we need them which I believe is testament to the ethos of EPG, and the family members whom run the business and the staff they employ.
